Hi, I’m Francesca,  

 My earliest memory has to do with cooking.  I was around three years old, climbed out of bed in the middle of the night, went downstairs to the kitchen, and started cooking.  I melted butter in a metal measuring cup on the radiator.  I cracked eggs and actually got one into the teakettle.  I know there was flour and sugar involved.  I know all of this because after I decided I was too tired to cook anymore I went back to bed and was rudely awakened by a screaming mother telling me all the things I used during my midnight cooking session. To this day, I don’t understand why she wasn’t impressed by my efforts! Since then, I’ve always loved cooking.

 Though I was a working mom, I always found time to indulge in my cooking passion.  Oddly enough my career wasn’t in food as I was a computer programmer.  Yet I still found time to participated in cooking challenges, dabbled in personal cheffing, and catered friends’ weddings. I have taken many cooking courses in the US and abroad. My favorite course was becoming a certified chocolatier at one of the top chocolate company’s in the US.

 As a foodie I’ve always been interested in new and quality foods. So when a friend showed me Thrive Life I was blown away with the quality and the variety of what they had. I was in love at first bite.

 So, of course, in 2010, I started having Thrive groceries delivered. I have to admit, I didn’t use them right away. They sat in their boxes, neatly stacked, waiting. A fews months later I was trying to pull together something for dinner and realized I was out of onions and my mushrooms had turned into slimy slugs. Ugh! I had a lightbulb moment!  I have food in those boxes. From that moment on I was hooked on the convenience, and even more so the quality of what was in those cans.

 From there, opening two cans of veggies, I went on to publish over 30 recipes for  Thrive Life. I’ve been awarded Chef of the Month for my recipes in 2015 & 2016. You can see some of my old recipes here. My newest recipes will always be found here first.

 2016 was the year I helped to set up, organize, and speak at our first ever Thrive Event for my new and fast growing team in Alaska. Yes, and I even got to see a moose! Also, in 2016, I was honored and humbled to receive the Heart of Thrive Award. *video below

I will always be grateful to the people that helped me earn this award.

 In 2017 I was called to be a Board Member and part of the Product Development Team. One of my favorite parts is taste testing the secret new products before they are released to the public.

 In 2018 you could find me on stage, during our convention, in a Cooking Challenge where I decided to show how you could use the same grouping of core ingredients and make three completely different meals, and I did this in less than 10 minutes. I called this segment Thriving Flavors from Around the World”.  Check out my article here.

 I am amazed by all this, as I would have never thought I would end up here, doing this, and best of all loving every moment of it.
